2. General information
Protecting your personal data matters to us. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable data protection rules, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This privacy policy tells you which personal data is processed when you visit our website and when you contact us, for what purposes this happens, and what rights you have.
3. General data collected when visiting the website
When you open our website, the hosting provider may automatically record information. This may include in particular:
- IP address of the accessing device
- date and time of access
- browser used
- operating system
- referrer URL
- pages and files requested
- technical information about the use of the website
This data is processed in particular for the technical provision, stability and security of our website, and to defend against misuse and attacks.
The data is not used to draw conclusions about you personally, unless this is necessary to investigate a specific security incident.
4. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, the personal data you send is processed to the extent necessary to deal with your enquiry.
This may include in particular your name, your email address and the information you provide in the enquiry.
Depending on the content of your enquiry, processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the communication relates to a possible or existing contractual relationship, or on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in dealing with enquiries and communicating with prospective and existing clients.
5. Contact and booking via WhatsApp
For contact and booking we offer the option of reaching us via WhatsApp. The provider is:
WhatsApp Ireland Limited
4 Grand Canal Square
Grand Canal Harbour
Dublin 2
Ireland
If you contact us via WhatsApp, the data you transmit is processed. This may include in particular your telephone number, your name, the content of your messages and any information you voluntarily provide.
Processing takes place in order to deal with your enquiry, communicate with you and arrange or manage an appointment.
Using WhatsApp is voluntary. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, you can contact us by email or telephone instead.
Please note that using WhatsApp may involve processing of personal data by WhatsApp, its parent company and affiliated companies, and this may include a transfer to third countries, in particular the USA. We have only limited influence over that processing. WhatsApp's own privacy terms apply to it. Further information is in the WhatsApp privacy policy.
6. Online booking
Online booking takes place by contacting us via WhatsApp. When arranging an appointment, the following data in particular may be processed:
- name
- telephone number
- desired treatment
- preferred appointment
- any further information you voluntarily provide when booking
This data is used exclusively to handle the booking request, arrange the appointment and communicate in connection with the treatment. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR insofar as it is necessary for pre-contractual measures or the performance of a contract.
The contact form on this website transmits no data by itself. Your entries stay in your browser and, on submission, are simply handed to WhatsApp as prepared text — the message is only sent by you. No data is stored on this website's server in the process.
7. Instagram
Our website contains a link to our Instagram profile. The provider of the social network Instagram is:
Meta Platforms Ireland Limited
4 Grand Canal Square
Grand Canal Harbour
Dublin 2
Ireland
This is a plain link: no Instagram content is embedded, and simply opening this website transmits no data to Instagram. If you click the Instagram link, you leave our website and are taken to Instagram, where personal data may be processed by Instagram.
We have no influence over the nature, extent and purpose of data processing by Instagram. Meta's and Instagram's privacy terms apply. Use of our Instagram profile is voluntary.
8. Google Maps
Google Maps may be used on our contact page to show you the location of our studio and help you find it. The provider is:
Google Ireland Limited
Gordon House
Barrow Street
Dublin 4
Ireland
The map is not loaded automatically. Only when you explicitly click “Load map” is a connection to Google established. In doing so, your IP address and further technical information in particular may be processed and transferred to the USA.
Google Maps is therefore only embedded after your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can decline the display and use of Google Maps and visit the website in full without the map function. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by clearing the stored decision in your browser, or by reloading the page without activating the map. Further information is in Google's privacy notices.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
This website sets no cookies — neither technically necessary ones nor any for analytics, marketing or advertising. There is no tracking, no analytics tooling is used, and consequently there is no cookie banner.
The only thing stored is your decision as to whether the Google map on the contact page may load. That value is kept solely in your browser (localStorage), is not transmitted to our server and is not used to recognise you. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
10. Fonts
The typefaces used on this website are served exclusively from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external provider, and no data is transmitted to third parties when the fonts load.
11. Legal bases for processing
Depending on the purpose, personal data is processed on the basis of the following provisions in particular:
- Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR – consent
- Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR – processing for pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract
- Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR – legitimate interests, in particular in a secure and functioning website and in communicating with prospective and existing clients
- Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR – where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation
12. Retention period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective processing purpose, or for as long as statutory retention obligations exist. Once the purpose no longer applies or the statutory retention periods expire, the data is deleted, unless other legal grounds for storage exist.
13. Disclosure of personal data
Your personal data is generally only passed on to third parties where this is necessary to fulfil a specific purpose, where you have consented, or where there is a legal obligation to do so.
When external services such as WhatsApp, Instagram or Google Maps are used, personal data may be processed by the respective providers. Those providers' privacy terms additionally apply to that processing.
14. Your rights
Under the statutory provisions you have in particular the following rights:
- right of access to the personal data stored about you
- right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
- right to erasure of your personal data
- right to restriction of processing

15. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes data protection law. The competent authority for Bavaria is:
Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA)
Promenade 18
91522 Ansbach

16. SSL / TLS encryption
For security reasons this website uses SSL / TLS encryption. This protects transmitted data so that it cannot readily be read by third parties. You can recognise an encrypted connection by your browser's address bar beginning with “https://” and by the padlock symbol.
17. Currency and changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy where this becomes necessary due to changes in the law, changes to our services or technical developments. The current version published on this website is the one that applies.
