Treatments

Every treatment below is described the way it actually runs — including which skin types it suits and which it doesn't. If you're still unsure after reading: the consultation costs nothing.

Healed powder brows: a softly shaded eyebrow, light at the head and denser through the arch
Eyebrows

Powder Brows / Ombré

In the powder or ombré technique the pigment is worked into the uppermost layer of skin as fine dots. The result is a soft gradient, light at the head of the brow and denser through the arch. The shape is drawn on together beforehand, and nothing starts until you are happy with it.

Suits almost every skin type, including combination skin and larger pores, where hairstrokes tend to blur.

Hairstrokes brushed through with a spoolie — individual hairs set in the direction of growth
Eyebrows

Hairstrokes / Nano

Each hair is placed individually in the direction of growth with a very fine needle. The technique lives on gaps: it does not fill a block of colour, it adds what is missing. The brow looks fuller without looking drawn on.

At its best on normal to dry skin with some existing hair. For very oily skin I recommend powder brows instead.

Watercolour lips in a warm coral tone, shortly after treatment
Lips

Lips — Watercolour / Lip Blush

The watercolour method works very diluted pigment softly across the whole lip. The outline is not traced — it is defined from the inside out. Colour looks considerably stronger on the day and settles to roughly half that intensity over the first few days.

Especially good for pale or unevenly pigmented lips and for slightly asymmetric outlines.

Enhanced lash line: a stronger lash base with no visible stroke above it
Eyes

Lash line enhancement

Pigment goes only into the gaps between the lashes, never as a line above them. In a photograph you do not see a stroke, you see a stronger lash base. It is the most discreet treatment on the menu.

For anyone who wants to skip the kohl pencil without it being obvious they have permanent make-up.

from €250 Duration: 2 h
Eyeliner with a fine wing at the outer corner of the eye
Eyes

Eyeliner

We agree the weight and the length beforehand and draw it on. An eyeliner ages differently from a brow: it usually stays crisply defined for longer, because the lid produces less oil.

Possible with a slightly hooded lid too — the line is then mapped to the eye as it looks open.

from €260 Duration: 2 – 2.5 h
Laminated lashes, lifted from the root and tinted
Lashes

Lash lamination + botox

The lashes are set into shape from the root, then treated with a keratin conditioner and tinted if you like. No glue, no extensions, no infills — after six to eight weeks the effect simply grows out.

For straight lashes that grow downwards, or as a break from extensions.

Eyebrow after the shape was corrected and the hairs tinted
Eyebrows

Brow shaping & tint

The shape is measured and corrected, then the hairs are tinted with henna or brow colour. It is also the right treatment if you want to see which shape suits you before committing to permanent make-up.

As a treatment in its own right, or as a trial run before PMU.

Reworked eyebrows after correcting an older pigmentation
Correction

Correction of previous work

Whether a rework is possible depends on the colour, saturation and shape of the old work. That is why I never decide from a photo alone, only after seeing it in person. Sometimes lightening is the first step and pigment comes later.

Send me a daylight photo in advance and I can tell you whether a consultation is worth your time.

Common questions

Before you decide

How long does permanent make-up last?

That depends heavily on skin type, pigment colour and lifestyle. As a guide: brows usually hold one to two years, lips a little longer, the lash line longest. Oily skin, sun and frequent exfoliation shorten it noticeably.

Does it hurt?

Most clients describe it as uncomfortable but easily bearable — comparable to having several hairs plucked in a row. I work with a numbing agent applied before and during the treatment. Lips are usually the most sensitive area.

What does healing look like?

For the first three to five days the colour looks considerably stronger and darker than the final result. The skin then flakes lightly and the colour looks too pale for a week or two — this is normal. You see the final result after roughly four to six weeks, which is exactly when the touch-up takes place.

Is the touch-up included in the price?

Yes. Every first treatment includes a touch-up after four to eight weeks. The work is only finished after that second appointment — permanent make-up is never completed in a single session.

How should I prepare?

No alcohol for 24 hours, no coffee and no blood-thinning painkillers on the day. Please avoid exfoliation, microneedling and sunbeds in the treatment area for two weeks beforehand. If you pluck your brows regularly, let them grow for two weeks.

When is permanent make-up not possible?

Among other things during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with clotting disorders, with acute skin conditions in the treatment area, on freshly tanned skin and on certain medications. With diabetes, autoimmune conditions or after chemotherapy we discuss it beforehand — if in doubt, please check with your doctor first.

Can old permanent make-up be reworked?

Often yes, though not always in one step. Whether it can be pigmented over or has to be lightened first depends on the saturation and tone of the old work. Send me a daylight photo — but for a binding answer I need to see the skin in person.

Which pigments, and what about hygiene?

I work exclusively with certified pigments that comply with EU regulations, and with sterile single-use modules opened in front of you. Needles, gloves and tips are single-use as a matter of course.

Not sure which technique fits?

Send me a photo in daylight, without make-up. I'll tell you honestly what's possible — and what I'd advise against in your case.
